Rugby RCC Club Time Trials

Background to Club Time Trials
From March/April through to September Rugby RCC holds an evening time trial series comprising 23 or 24 events, held on Wednesday evenings. Normal start time is 7 pm, although this is brought forward to 6.30 pm at each end of the season when the days are shorter.
For the evening time trials distances range from 5 to 25 miles.

To add interest, a points system operates at both scratch and handicap levels. To see how this works click on Points Table.

To see how much it costs go to Entry Fees.

Guest riders are always welcome, although for obvious reasons they cannot be included in the handicaps or points tables.

To see lists of results for the current and previous seasons go to Results Index.

For new riders in particular, there's some advice on time trialling (there's also a few reminders for more experienced riders)..

Vet on Standard
Within our club events we also run a Vet on Std competition for the over-40s - details on our Vet on Std page.

Once a year, more recently in September, the club organises a 4-Hour time trial. This is primarily for club members, although guest riders are always welcome. For more information click on our section which describes the 4-Hour Time Trial.

Club BAR
We have a club Best-All-Rounder competition, based on results in club events as distinct from open events - go to BAR to see how it works.
