Results for 4th September 2013 - Course: K11/5B Willoughby-Dunchurch

This was our final evening time trial of the season and a complete contrast to our first event which was cancelled due to snow. This time conditions were near perfect, with sunshine and only a slight breeze. With the receding daylight we were limited to 50 riders and were able to slot in 3 private entries to replace those who had booked in but failed to appear, meaning we had a full field. David Newton won by a 13 second margin and strengthened his hold in the points competition. Although it would appear he can still be caught by Matt Jones the best 18 events rule means that he would still win by one point, whatever the outcome of the 4-hour and hillclimb.
