Results for 9th September 2018 - Course: K10/50 Princethorpe - Cubbington

The final club event of the season was a win for David Newton with the only sub-2 hour time, a strong southerly wind taking the edge off everyone's times. Oliver Billing was just 8 seconds ahead of Andy Craig in the first claim members category. Fortunately all riders returned safely, with no DNFs.

Perhaps we need to re-think when and if we should hold events like these? During the season we had 60 1st Claim members and 18 2nd Claim members take part in our 24 event series, yet only 11 members entered this 50-mile TT, despite a fine sunny morning, no rain forecast and no clashes with other major events. Any comments would be useful in compiling the list of events for next season.
